Recently, Michael Taylor (co-discoverer of world’s tallest tree Hyperion) has been assembling and launching drones to further explore, map and document forests and look for tall trees. The unit shown below was fitted with a video camera, and follows a flight plan. This is the latest of several tools that Michael added to his assortment of exploring gear.
