Had a nice time in the Coast Redwoods, the first week of February, 2014.  A few days exploring in several parks, then one day in Prairie Creek to get photos for some folks out of Humboldt / Eureka area. The image below wasn’t what we planned for the day, but the experimental photo ended up with over 45,000 views on Facebook. It wasn’t the prettiest photo, but seems to be the most effective or attention-grabbing shot of several hundred. This Coast Redwood is one of many in plain view in Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park. The woman assisting to show scale, is Kiera of Crescent City.
