Welcome to the Hobbit House of Prairie Creek redwoods … if you have imagination. This room within a redwood also has a window with a beautiful forest view. The area is Cal-Barrel Rd., off Drury Pkwy. The  old road has a lot of scenery, and it probably should be rated as a hike. There are few cars even when the gate is locked. And dogs are allowed on this nature route that is typically accessible every day of the year.
