F. Beranek.<\/p>\n<p>Probably the most photographically loaded book ever in my bookcase or office. The author, a previous Coast Redwood and Timber Faller turned author and photographer, wrote me that this book is virtually opposite of his other work HIGH CLIMBERS AND TIMBER FALLERS. Also conveying it may raise a few eyebrows how both books came from the same brain. My copy came straight from the author, but I see that Wesspur also carries some of Beranek&#8217;s books, including The Fundamentals of General Tree Work &#8230; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wesspur.com\/books\/tree-climbing-books.html\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.wesspur.com\/books\/tree-climbing-books.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Gerald (Jerry) shared the following comments in a recent message &#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>&#8220;The style and presentation of Coast Redwood is the opposite of <strong>High<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<em><strong> Climbers<\/strong>. \u00a0As the earlier work is purely about the glory times and the<\/em><br \/>\n<em> industry&#8217;s shortsighted gains from resource exploitation. \u00a0<strong>Coast Redwood<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<em> is about the much longer rewards that come from appreciating and<\/em><br \/>\n<em> preserving our natural resource. So there&#8217;s a striking contrast between<\/em><br \/>\n<em> the content of the two books &#8230;<\/em><em>\u00a0 Kind of like Jekyll and<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Hyde. \u00a0Strangely, as they are, I think the two books actually compliment<\/em><br \/>\n<em> each other.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The author is basically an ex-Timber Faller (and photographer) turned author, photographer.
