We spent most of one day\u00a0 in a remarkable patch of forest &#8230; The Catacombs. The location is unique, but compared to other groves, the &#8220;Atlas Grove&#8221; that Preston wrote about in The Wild Trees, is the first thing that came to mind. Here&#8217;s one of the redwoods we found this week.
