Days with sun can be challenging for nice photos before noon arrives. But early in the morning, the light may be mellow for a while. If there is fog, early arrival may provide spectacular scenery. The image below was taken the first few minutes after sunrise. The fog, sunlight and rays will change by the minute. This scene was in Jedediah Smith Redwoods, September, about 7am in the morning.
