400 Trees & 12,000 sq. ft. Bark

Twine on Root Ball
Twine on Root Ball

Just started preparation for 400 trees east of Stafford Rd.. These were planted by someone else about a year ago, and root ball twine was not removed. This project involves removing the twine, looking for girdling roots, etc.. Each tree will get a 6′ circle of bark, about 3 inches deep (over 100 cubic yards). The first hour alone revealed synthetic twine which would girdle trunks of 10  Incense Cedar. This tree care for even those 10 trees alone ($1800.00 ) covered more than cost for the work inspecting all 400 trees.
