Eastmoreland Golf Course … my origin

Maybe you read it elsewhere, but my origin in horticulture started with golf courses. Today, I stopped by Eastmoreland Golf Course to take a few photos where I used to work nearly 30 years ago. The golf course experience accounts for much of the detail that infiltrated my pruning and design work. Precision was important, especially with adjustment of mowers and greens. Because if one mower reel was like 20 x 1/1000ths off from the others, it could cause a ridge which  diverts a ball’s path when putting.
